This is the small batch. Designer charm rakhis in six shapes: classic evil eye, diamond-cut, square-set, double infinity, and the hamsa hand — finished in navy, teal and green.

Heavier than a bead rakhi and closer to a bracelet, which means he can keep wearing it long after the thread rakhis have come off.

There are twenty-two in total. When the counter hits zero we do not restock before Rakhi.

Why this piece

  1. Designer charm construction — substantially heavier and better finished than a bead rakhi.
  2. Six charm styles: evil eye, diamond-cut evil eye, square, double infinity, and hamsa.
  3. Reads as a bracelet after Raksha Bandhan, so it stays on.
  4. The hamsa hand and the evil eye are both long-standing protective symbols.
  5. Presented on a printed keepsake card rather than a plastic strip.
  6. Limited to twenty-two pieces this season — no restock before Rakhi.

How to wear
  • Tie it on the right wrist — the traditional wrist for a rakhi.
  • Apply tilak first, then tie the thread, then the sweet. Roli-chawal is included in the box.
  • Pull the knot firm; the cord is braided so it will not slip loose.
  • After Raksha Bandhan it can be worn as a bracelet or kept in the display case.
Style tip

Remove the tassel after the festival and it wears as a charm bracelet. The navy and teal cords suit darker sleeves.

Best day to wear

Raksha Bandhan, Friday 28 August 2026.

Care & cleansing

Care

  • Keep away from water, perfume, sanitiser and chemical cleaners — natural stone and rudraksha dull on contact.
  • Remove before bathing, swimming and sleeping.
  • Wipe with a dry, soft cloth. Do not soak.
  • Store in the pouch or box it came in, away from direct heat.

Cleansing

  • Every piece is cleansed and energised before it is packed, so nothing is required from you before wearing or tying it.
  • If you want to refresh it later: leave it in moonlight overnight, rest it on a selenite plate for six to eight hours, or pass it through sage smoke.
  • Do not use salt water on strung beads — it weakens the cord.

  • Ships in a YourRaahi box with the piece secured inside.

  • Rakhi orders include a roli-chawal sachet.
  • No invoice is placed inside the box when you mark the order as a gift at checkout — just leave a note.

Frequently asked questions

Can I choose the charm style?

Styles are assorted from what remains in the batch — evil eye, diamond-cut, square, double infinity or hamsa. Leave a note at checkout with a preference and we will match it if that style is still in stock.

What does the hamsa hand mean?

The hamsa is an open-palm symbol used across South Asia, West Asia and North Africa as a protective motif, often paired with the evil eye.

Is twenty-two really the total?

Yes. The stock counter on this page is the actual remaining quantity, not a marketing number.

Can it be worn after Raksha Bandhan?

That is the intent. It is built closer to a bracelet than a thread rakhi, and the tassel can be removed.
